Bharat MandirSVR INNOVATIVES PRIVATE LIMITED
You can delete your Bharat Mandir account and personal data at any time, directly from the app. This page explains how, what is removed, and what is retained.
1. How to delete your account (in the app)
- Open the Bharat Mandir app and sign in.
- Go to the Me tab.
- Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. You are signed out immediately and deletion begins.
2. What happens, and when
- You are signed out immediately when you confirm.
- For a grace period of 30 days, the account is deactivated — you cannot sign in, and the mobile number cannot be used to create a new account.
- After 30 days, your account and personal data are permanently deleted, and the mobile number becomes free to register a brand-new account.
3. Data that is permanently deleted
- Your account — mobile number, and any name, email and profile photo you added;
- Your saved favourites and app preferences linked to the account;
- Your submitted questions are disassociated from you (your name is removed).
4. Data that is retained, and why
For legal, tax and accounting compliance, records of completed transactions are retained — but with your personal identifiers removed:
- Pooja, accommodation and purohit booking records, book orders and payment references are kept;
- Your name, phone number and delivery address on those records are replaced with “Deleted User” / redacted, so they no longer identify you.
Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never store your card or bank details.
